About Heather Hamby, LMT
Integrative Massage Therapist, Healing Arts Practitioner & Mentor
My path into massage and healing work began with my own story. Living with celiac disease, chronic pain, and the stress of single motherhood, I often felt overwhelmed and disconnected from myself. Along my journey I discovered the practices that helped me move from survival into healing — therapeutic massage, fascia release, breathwork, and nervous system regulation.
Because I have lived this myself, I understand what it’s like to carry pain, trauma, and exhaustion in the body. As Dr. Bessel van der Kolk writes in The Body Keeps the Score, unprocessed stress and trauma live in our muscles, fascia, and nervous system. Dr. Gabor Maté adds that many people — especially women who put others first — experience the toll of this in autoimmune disease and chronic illness. And Peter Levine reminds us that trauma is not the event itself, but what becomes stuck inside us when the body isn’t given a chance to release.
These insights, combined with my continuing education and years of working with clients, shape the way I practice today. Through my work at Inner Rhythm Massage & Healing, I create a safe haven where you can reconnect with your body’s own rhythm — the natural flow of balance, rest, and renewal. Whether you come to simply relax, manage chronic pain, or release deeper stress patterns, my work meets you where you are and helps your body remember its inner rhythm of healing.

Heather is incredible!!
She immediately made me feel comfortable and the space was pretty with a calm relaxing feel to it. I was suffering with vertigo and a knee injury. She suggested a Nervous System Restoration vs a relaxation massage and the next morning the vertigo was GONE and I feel grounded and centered in my body. I booked another appointment before I left, and I am looking forward to my next session. I absolutely recommend her services!!
